The place where I lived in the rural town of Georgia was away from the humdrums of human population. I was very happy to live in a secluded place that was surrounded by woods all around. The ambiance was perfect for imbibing the beauty and charm of the nature. The small house amidst the woods was my place to live a peaceful life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The seasonal changes were the best thing to experience in this place as I was literally living in the lap of nature. The season of winter and spring were my favorite out there as I could experience the very best of Mother Nature in those times of the year.
The winter season was the time when the woods would shed all the leaves. There was the chilling winds blowing through the place. The hissing sound of the strong chilly winds would echo in the ears all through the day in winter. The dry leaves moved along on the ground. The trees were bare, and the nests of the birds could be visible in this time of the year. One could smelled the dry leaves on the ground all around. The winter season had its own essence that made it look beautiful. The sky was clear blue in color in this time of the year. One could not find any cloud in the sky either. It was surreal to spend long hour looking at the beautiful azure sky that encompassed the ground below. However, the barren trees signified loss of life and death in winter. That made things seems a bit gloomy to the eye of people. The white snow would cover the land, and the entire place would look really different. This time of the year was totally different in comparison to the other seasons. The entire milieu was that of calmness and serenity. Winter was a peaceful time on one hand, and on the other hand it signified end of life and gloominess. These were the distinct characteristics of winter in the rural town of Georgia where I lived for as long as ten years in my life.
In stark contrast to the winter season in the rural town of Georgia, the spring is a season that is simply full of so much life. In the span of ten years that I lived there, I experienced the burst of life during this season. The trees all around would get new life with all the green leaves growing from them. The birds would come back after the winter, and their chirping sound would resonate all through the day in the milieu. The sky looked beautiful to say the less. There was one or two cloudlets flying in the sky making it look very charming and exquisite. The ground would be filled with grass, and the greenery all around pointed to the onset of life and rejuvenation. One could understand that spring was the time of the triumph of life in the place. The squirrels would run around from tree to tree. The soothing air would flow through the place caressing the leaves and the grass. All in all, this was surely the better time of the year that was marked with new life, beauty and peacefulness.
Thus, in the rural town of Georgia, one could experience the nature from very close quarter. Away from the population that hinders the aesthetic experience of life, one could bask in the beauty of the woods. The two seasons has distinctive characteristics that makes them different from one another, yet beautiful and appealing in their own ways.
