The greatest wealth that people possess is health, because it cannot be bought for any sum of money and there is no doctor, who can guarantee that you will always be safe and sound. A lot of risks are influencing our health and one of them can be a reason for a fatal illness or even death.
Obesity is considered to be one of those risks, the influence of which could be avoided, reduced or changed. Although some people, who have extra weight feel comfortable eating unhealthy food and spending free time watching TV, but they are not aware of the fact, that they are ruining their own lives. Fortunately, there is an opportunity to lose weight and, thereby, prolong life.
The first step for overweight people is to eat less and eat healthy food. It is always easier to go to a fast food, rather than to by fruits and vegetables and cook something yourself. But the outcome is always the same – extra kilos stay and the weight increases. It is compulsory to eat in small portions several times a day and not to open the fridge after 6 p. m. Breakfast is the main food intake and, therefore, it should not be ignored. Say no to high-fat dishes and increase the amount of vitamins and minerals in your organism.
Obesity is often connected with alcohol abuse. The scientists have already proved the fact that alcohol drinks contribute to extra weight. A glass of wine once a month will not harm, but constant consumption of beer will soon result in flabs on waist and problems with stomach. Your excess weight will deprive you of an ability to move freely and quickly.
One more thing that should be changed if you suffer from obesity is the way of life. A lazy monster living inside you will always try to tempt you to sleep longer, to watch TV or sit in chats instead of walking, jumping, going to the park or doing morning exercises. The easiest way is not always the best one.
Obesity is not the only risk that affects your life. Smoking, even passive one also influences the health. If your father is smoking with you sitting near him, then be sure that he is harming your organism as well as his own.
