A few years ago I understood that I was not satisfied with my life. I felt intrinsic necessity for disclosure of my internal values and priorities. I began reading many books and attending various courses. I tried to find something that would affect my mind and open new ways of understanding the essence of my life. According to the proverb, all good things come to he who waits (Kidwell, 2004). People have to be more attentive to the events that happen with them. The appearance of some people in life is not a coincidence. I am thankful for all people who affected me and changed my life to some extent. Many of them have become my leaders that inspired me.
In a quest of myself, I have changed my job. My new director turned out to be a strict, demanding and fair-minded person with rich life experience. He has broadened my outlook and encouraged my self-development. This man is a real leader because only true leaders have such influence with those around them. They inspire and lead people. In other words, the spirit of a true leader is contagious. I was impressed with his enthusiasm and followed him. This person convinced me that all obstacles are lessons that life gives us. Impossible is nothing if a learner will draw a conclusion from every lesson.
My leader has awakened interest in me to a constant process of mental and physical self-improvement. He helped me to reach a state of inner harmony. Thanks to him I have opened new talents and achieved a great deal in my life. He launched a mechanism that will never stop. My ongoing quest for excellence proves that I am on the right track.
