The baseline plan outlines the major goals in form of tasks the project is out to accomplish. It then stipulates the duration each task is going to take to achieve. The plan also includes the average cost of each task in dollars. Finally it gives a general guideline of the crucial members of each team handling a specific task. However it is imperative to note that all the figures given are generally reasonable estimates of the duration and the cost of the project.
