Everybody has their own idea of what creativity is. Creativity is defined as the capability to see the world in different ways, to discover unseen patterns, to make links between apparently distinct phenomena, and to create solutions. Creativity encompasses two practices: thinking and putting the thoughts in a tangible object that can be heard or see. Various components are needed for one to be creative. Such components, together with the reasons as to why people create are discussed in this paper. Further, the questions of whether creativity has a value, or whether it can be taught are answered.
Creativity does not just happen by chance. There are components that go into creativity that makes the final product desirable. First is outward thinking. The most fruitful creative make a bigger ratio of other motivated proclamations, implying they embrace external points of view. So instead of concentrating on themselves, they have a tendency of shifting their thoughtfulness outward, enlightening their own work by pooling resources and learning from the others. Austin Kleon, in his book “Steal like an Artist”, he writes that every work that is built today is based on what came beforehand. Every so often, originality emanates from conjoining, building on and cultivating ideas. Persons and enterprises can be more innovative merely by scrutinizing the world amenably, captivating fresh experiences and concepts and making a decision on what is worth copying from (Kleon 120).
The second requirement is curiosity. Interest is one factor that almost every creative genius has. Albert Einstein one time inscribed, “I have no extraordinary talents. I am simply zealously curious, (Einstein 111)” The root for creative individuals is the insistent pursuit of learning always. The most productive people display a higher tendency of asking questions than having a defensive a standpoint. Positivity is another necessity in that for one to full accomplish the purpose of what he intends to do, he should enjoy the moment. Being creative requires an individual to do things naturally and from the heart. Happiness in the workstation makes people to put more effort and be more industrious. What is more, persons are more artistic when they are confident and naturally motivated.
People create different pieces for different reasons. Some use art to express their feelings, emotions, and thoughts. Others create for the purpose of communicating certain things than cannot be said by mere words, while some artists use art as a source of inner healing.
Having creative, literate individuals is of essential significance to the financial and communal wellbeing of society. Creative writing cannot be termed as luxury. There is a solid economic consideration for the actual value of original quests. In majority areas across the public and the commercial realm, being in a position to use language meticulously and jovially and having the ability to read and reflect analytically are excellent expertise to have. Creative writing is therefore fundamental not a luxury item rather, it is necessary to the welfare of community that we have resourceful, well-educated and legendary individuals making an influence (Bamra 30).
The fact is everyone is creative. Everybody has some elements of creativity from birth. As people grow up and go through different experiences, they either retain their creative part or learn to conquer it. Creativity can effortlessly be taught, well-read, practiced and upgraded at whichever age. Most original thinking or invention comes from particular sorts of thinking in the mind. Most individuals who have the belief that they do not have elements of creativity in them means that they have modelled to their brain to think that way. Being the best in a certain field requires one to train the mind to solve problems and handle problems in a different way. For example, majority creative theorists are normally creative thinkers. Imaginative thinking involves coming up with several solutions to a single problem. Creativity can be inborn and can be taught as well. Not everyone is born a professional; sometimes to enhance the potential that is required, one has to be taught by someone who has already been there so creativity can be taught.
Creative thinking involves viewing situations in a different way from everyone one. To be a creative individual, one has to have curiosity, think widely, and be happy in whatever they are doing. People innovate for different purposes like healing, passing a message across or just expressing their emotions. Although everyone is creative in their own way, creativity can be enhanced through learning.
