Changes in various societies across the world are currently affecting families and various learning institutions. Children are the next generation in the society that will exists in the year 2050 hence it is important to consider changes in the families and learning institutions that will have future effects on the (Plato 8). Since the advancement of children occurs in the context of both families and learning institutions, it is important for the teachers, legislators, and parents to understand advancements that bot the institutions are experiencing. Even though omissions are in existence, it is probable to recognize some four societal observable facts in many areas across the world that would directly influence families and how they interrelate with learning institutions (Lem Guin 121). Understanding the relationship between parents and learning institutions will clearly explain how the changes would improve the society by year 2050. Increasing urbanization, advancement in the labor force and improvement in technology will have inferences for people’s relationship in general. In addition, the expansion of knowledge and information will also play an important role in changing the society by 2050.
The first change that would improve society by 2050 is increasing urbanization. Almost 20 years ago, there were few cities across the world with an estimated population of 700,000. Currently, there are more cities and the figure is still expected to increase with time. Therefore, the figure should triple by the year 2050 thence improving the society. The creation of multinationals changed and is further expected to change family associations and custom. Increasing urbanization is important because it will create more space for family life in both rural and urban areas. Therefore, a lot of time will be spent on everyday movements from how to work. Time will also be spent from home to school and to other various regions. This will eventually improve society by 2050. Increasing urbanization will also control the number of family-households thereby reducing the cost of raising children (More 112). Increasing urbanization will be accompanied with the increase in job opportunities in the recognized economy hence this will improve the standards of living for many people. In addition, it will lead to an increase in welfare services-
Conversely, overstimulation, packed homes, a lot of noise, inadequate space for individuals activities and other factors connected with life in both urban and rural areas can all negatively affect the performance of an individual. For instance, it can affect the performance of students who are expected to be the next generation that would improve society by 2050. Urbanization will lead to an increase in human interaction within the urban centers. This will may help to increase disunity among urban dwellers. Despite its advantages, urbanization may lead to an increase in poverty. Poverty may result mainly due to overcrowding in urban areas. This in turn may lead to rise in crime levels within the urban centers. Crime levels will negatively influence the future generations since this will render urban areas inhabitable. Overcrowding also may lead to poor health and sanitation.
The second change involve the creation of a viable transformation in the labor force. The industrialization, which started three centuries ago, has greatly affected all countries around the world. Therefore, the creation of viable changes in the labor force would improve the society by the year 2050. Industrialization will not only restructure the labor force but also improve the demand for advancement of technological skills and attitudes. Therefore, by 205, the society will be re-organized whereby there will be advancement in the people’s approached, values and principles. This implies that old approaches, values, and principles will be replaced with new ones. Creating viable change in the labor force will ensure that there is an improving number of women taking part in the labor force. As a result, the women share in the labor force will be closely similar to that of men hence this would improve society by 2050.
Female employment does not have a negative effect on the education of children as a number of people might have initially thought. The most vital thing is the amount of time used up on the relationship between the parents and the children and the quality of care children receive. This will help improve approaches, values, and principles thereby improving society. The creation of a viable transformation in the labor force will be important in introducing economic stimulation. The creation of a strong labor force will help grow the global economy, as more individuals will be involved in wealth creation. This however, may lead to a growth in the disparity between the rich and the poor. A transformation in the labor force will lead to a rise in the number of professionals competing for similar positions. This may is a disadvantage since it may lead to unfair competition in the workplace. This in turn may lead to unethical practices in order to defeat the competition.
The third change that would improve society by 2050 is the enhancement to f technology. May countries have started acknowledging the importance of technology in improving areas like healthcare, education, and felony prevention. This therefore implies that improving technology would improve the society by 2050 in a number of ways. For instance, hospitals will be able to analyze diseases hence this will reduce the number of deaths and change the lives of ordinary citizens across the world. Improved technology will also reduce the rate of crimes accords the world in that technology can easily be used to deter and solve crime.
Education will be expected to move further online. This implies that educators will be able to communicate with learners around the world from their home. Local and international libraries will then be used for different purposes. Consequently, online advancements are expected to improve the performance of children and hence improving society by 2050.
Technological advancements may lead to a rise in social evils being propagated using technology. For example, t may encourage computer crimes such as hacking and online identity theft. This is undesirable since it does not help improve the future generation.
