DxOMark Company, which is engaged in comparing the photo and video capabilities of various mobile devices, said that the iPhone 6 camera is by far the best on the market, positioning the gold standard for the excellence of mobile shooting. Tests of DxOMark show that Apple innovations took the first two places (including iPhone 6 Plus), leaving behind Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z3 and other flagships. According to the research of DxOMark, the camera in the new iPhone has an impressive autofocus in low light and bright light. Tone reproduction while sustaining a top level of detail has also been noticeable by specialists. DxOMark identified disadvantages of photo module, i.e. evident noise of the iPhone 6 under low light conditions and the border around the object on some pictures.
Last year in the first three days of sales of new iPhone 5C and 5S the Apple managed to sell a record number of units, namely 9 million units. But this year, even though experts are skeptical, Apple showed that it can kill this powerful statement. Current models of the iPhone 6 were bought in the amount of 10 million devices in the first weekend.
The figure is awesome, especially considering the tone of forecasts sounded loud on the eve of the premiere. Therefore, Toni Sacconahi, the expert of Bernstein, predicted that during the first week of sales no more than 6-8 million phones expansion. Sacconahi clarified his argument by the fact that in the first wave of countries, where the novelty will be sold, does not consider China. Nevertheless, even without China in the first 24 hours from the shelves were dared 4 million iPhone 6. Due to such a terrific start gadget broke all previous records for speed in smartphone sales.
Excitement around iPhone 6 has become the backdrop for a small cultural project. The young filmmaker from the United States Casey Neistat became the star of YouTube, removing a mini-movie about the queues at the Apple Store. In one day, Casey “caught” a lot of amazing shots: the cruelty and abuse of police, petty scandals and nerves, ingenious system of resale and export of acquired iPhone by whole batches. The filmmaker describes the open of Apple Store as under the applause of the sellers the store began to fill with stone-faced crowd of Chinese, who runs quickly, pays cash and takes two devices per person, to give them to the coordinator out of the corner.
