The article by Ananda on the genetically modified organisms tries to show the adverse effects the genetically modified foods have on the human organs. In this case it is the genetically modified corns that were approved in several countries for sustenance during food shortage periods. He tries to show how studies have been carried by several departments and the concerned departments have proved that they are harmful. They adversely affect the most essential organs of the body like the kidney, heart and the adrenal spleen and many others.
After a keen study of this article and what it tries to bring up, I think this article applies to the genetics topic where the genetically modified foods producers use the genetic knowledge to fuse the chemicals and come up with an edible food.
The article was written to inform the public that as much as the GMFs are of some help to the country, they also pose a lot of risks to most essential parts of the human body. The article shows how the naturally produced corns are still the better option. It also tries to criticize the criteria to which the bureau of standards used to approve the use of the GMFs.
This article is important to me and any other human being as it unfolds the dangers associated with consumption of the GMFs. As much as this article is talking about corns only, but it applies to all the GMFs. The chemicals used are harmful and the article says that the tests for the foods were done using the rats. As a concerned human being, anything being consumed by human beings cannot be based on conclusions made on rats. That just gives me a reason not to trust the GMFs and only take them when there is no other option.
I would recommend for my fellow citizens to read this article so that they can be aware of the dangers associated with the consumption of the GMFs. They can also know the concerned individuals to raise complaints and views on the GMFs.
