The internet can be advantageous to human beings of any age. It offers a vast collection of knowledge to kids. Scholars have the sphere at their hand as well. They can access knowledge about different subjects at any time. By providing short videos and games that students might watch and connect with, the internet makes studying the handbook content more fascinating (Taylor 10). It is a marvelous resource for data about parenting tips, world news, diseases, and among others for adults. They can study any subject at any time through groups, forums, and games that indulge to the fascination of persons as well. The internet is advantageous to scholars, as it helps in reducing the cost to buy study materials. Many scholars choose to access study materials online rather than buying from departmental stores and malls.
Nevertheless, the internet can be dangerous to adults and children. Online attackers are out victimizing kids constantly, who provide their private information readily. Kids may stumble across places that are unsuitable for them as well. For instance, chat chambers have turned to new play areas for sexual attackers. The internet provides the anonymousness that these attackers require to entice unsuspecting kids into unsuitable talks, whom they later contact (Taylor 10). In the U.K., regulations that keep attackers away from schools and parks have been established. However, such regulations are inexistent to keep possible predators off the net. Kids can sign accidentally into pornographic web pages, if not observed properly. If not keen about the articles that they load into their laptops, grownups can fall victims of stolen identity, such as passwords. Laziness, gambling, the lack of serious relationships, and pornography are other disadvantages that the internet generates.
