Problem Statement
The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of AHIMA body knowledge in medical field and also to analyze the impact of AHIMA research in the real world today. The main purpose of this research is to observe the industry transitions from paper-based health records to electronic use.
Purpose of Study
The aim of this study is understand the Impact of AHIMA in the medical sector and the roles & responsibilities of health information management professionals in the drastically expanded in industry’s demand.
Methodology
- I will conduct survey from market and conduct interviews from professionals.
- I will also review the relevant research papers and articles.
- I identify the target peoples who focus on AHIMA.
- Will decide the respondent area.
- All variables will be study extensively to examine the relationship between these variables.
Primary Research
Primary research is about collecting data about given topic directly from the market. It can collect by observations, interviews, surveys etc. It is very time consuming job which mostly depend upon the type data required. The primary research is very essential for research because it provide raw data to the researcher which helps in achieving final outcomes. In this research I also conduct primary research from various research tools to analyze the impact of AHIMA body of knowledge in the field of medical operational, clinical and management function.
Secondary research
Secondary research is the research which is already been conducted or performed by another individual or institute or body. The sources of secondary research include letters, reports, documents, research papers etc. Secondary research saves time and money as well and can be useful by putting the research into the context. This research also requires the secondary research that will help me to understand the previous working on the related topic and also guide me the way to move forward for my research.

Facilities of IRB in Healthcare Research
The new regulation has been introduced known as HIPAA that represents special challenge to individuals who perform research. However, this research is not fall under the requirement of institutional review board (IRB).

AHIMA is in service to precede the implementation of electronics records of health by leading main initiatives of industry and supporting consistent and high standards. It was founded in 1928 to improve the quality of health record. AHIMA always played a role of leadership in the efficient management of health information and records of medical facility needed to provide quality healthcare facilities to the people.
It is important for the management of health information to expand the body of knowledge organization increasingly profession through scholarships and research. Thus, it will be possible to organize effectively to meet the growing demands of the ever for health care data and information to the public through the application of the latest technology. This technology is the basis of the analysis of electronic data storage and share that improve accuracy, reliability and efficiency. According to this research, and the roles and responsibilities of management of health information professionals and has expanded dramatically in an effort to meet the demands of industry and technology-based health information on the management and processing of data and information. Research indicates that the body of knowledge for the management of health information should be scaled accordingly, as the industry transitions in paper health records to electronic use. This will enable the organization to meet the expectations and demands of the changing society.
It also pointed out that the foundations created by AHIMA Health Information Relief (HIRO) Fund to help communities’ information professional or health professional who severely disrupted as a result of a natural disaster personal life. An example of this type of victims includes those affected by the tsunami and other natural disasters in the United States in recent years. The relief of Health Information (HIRO) Fund that helps to provide immediate material and other inscriptions that could be through the institution.
