This is an activity characterized by spending time together by already romantic partners or potential partners. It is usually seen as a major marker of development for the teenagers, but the fact is, dating is not limited to whatever age or people (Kate 44). From teenagers to the old, it has been the source of many romantic relationships. It is characterized by a passionate attachment of the parties involved. As time goes by in its development, it is evident from past and present experiences of many dating partners that things get pretty serious with time. However, this is not always the case due to failure to understand each other between the partners in it.
Dating has taken different dimensions in the recent past. Technology is replacing human activity in this. These days, the dating partners do not necessary meet face to face in order to deliberate on the matter. The internet has taken centre stage in dating across all observed ages. Dating websites provide for profile creation that further match up the pool of interested persons by considering their preferences. The aim of this is to generate the best dating couple that should hook up based on the preferences provided. These sites are however not responsible for any crime that may result in the process of the services they offer. Members should therefore be screened on the basis of the interests they purport to serve through these sites. Chances are that dating partners today are likely to have communicated through internet or whatever means before actually meeting (Kate 56).
The chemistry that was at many times blamed for initiating hormonal changes in persons who met physically for the first time and got interested in each other is virtually losing meaning with time.
However, it is important to keep in mind that this “stupid” reasoning constitutes the beauty of dating. In fact, no single lady or gentleman wants to be left out of dating. This is the fundamental aspect that further develops aspects of seriousness among the dating parties, leading to engagement and consequently marriage. Dating is regarded as a ballpark figure when it comes to love. However, there are those people who stay out of it at all cost due to the experiences of other people, who for example broke up and could not settle down issues with their partners after days of happiness (Kate 61). All the same, dating is an important aspect of life across the entire human race. The good or bad that comes with it is characteristic of the head over heels in love context.
