Deviant behavior
Deviant behavior means that a person behaves himself contrary to modern social moral and legal norms. It entails the isolation, treatment or punishment of a person who violated the rules. The activity of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo is the best example of deviant behavior because it always shocks people and provides pictures that are contrary to commonly accepted rules and behaviors. Some people even try to deal with this problem and it was attacked in last January, 12 people including eight staff were killed.
This magazine has marked the one-year anniversary since terrorists attacked its Paris. It depicted God brandishing a Kalashnikov that looked like a bearded man who is supposed to be God together with the words "One year on: the assassin is still out there." People from the Al-Qaeda branch in Yemen proclaimed that they were responsible for killing people from Charlie Hebdo but it didn’t stop employees of Charlie Hebdo of publishing new satirical pictures. It should be noted that the offices tend to depict radical issue. For example, they published a cartoon of Mohammed that caused an outcry by extremists because the picture of Mohammed is forbidden. Thus, police protects the offices of Charlie Hebdo because of the behavior of employees. From the other point of view, employees of Charlie Hebdo believe that they show a kind of French satire without humor because they do not laugh, buy highlight international problems.
