Dell is the most rapidly growing company in the field of computer manufacturing. Michael Dell founded it in 1984 in the US, and in 1987 Dell entered the European market. Michael Dell became the youngest man in the history of the USA, whose company was rated TOP 500 by Fortune magazine, an authoritative business publication. There are three basic principles in the company: 1. "Never sell through intermediaries" 2. "Forget about stocks" 3. "Client gets maximum respect." At the time, such principles were revolutionary, and many were skeptical about the direct sales model, assuring that it would not work. However, the low price, which has become possible due to the lack of intermediary margins, attracted buyers, and today this scheme is taught in the textbooks on economics (Fell, 2013).
HP is one of the largest manufacturers of server devices, printers, scanners, desktop computers and laptops. Company has gained good reputation in the market of digital cameras, PDAs and smartphones. Hewlett-Packard is one of the largest technology companies in the world specializing in the production of computers, computer equipment, and software. Hewlett-Packard are considered the founder of the Silicon Valley. The company operates in more than 170 countries around the world. The company's shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange, and they are included in the Dow Jones industrial index (Hall, 2016).
Cisco Systems, Inc. is one of the world leaders in the supply of goods, including software, as well as in the creation and maintenance of computer networking services. The company's product line includes routers, switches, remote access devices, protocols, Internet services and networking devices, network management software, which bring together geographically dispersed local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and the Internet itself. The company is developing expertise in the field of fiber-optic networks, and related expertise of the multiservice networks that offer audio and video capabilities of the network (Cisco Systems Inc., 2016).
