INTRODUCTION
Philosophy is an ancient Greek word that simply means the love of wisdom. Philosophy is therefore described to be the study of the general problems that people have that is connected with reasoning, reality, knowledge, values, beliefs and language. Philosophy is divided into different sections such as philosophy of religion. Philosophy of religion is defined as the inclusion of philosophical examination and a religion that focuses on aspects of religion for example the existence of God, ethics, history, law and the relationship between religion and science. The inclusion of humans' relationship with God according to the bible is that god is the creator of human beings therefore; human beings are supposed to respect and obey him.
Human beings are prone to making mistakes and thus they sin they find that God is all forgiving when they admit to have committed sins and repent so that they can change for the better. Human beings tend to commit sin more often than not for example when people are a couple or in a committed relationship. One gets tempted thus cheats on the other partner and when they tell other of the affair and asks for forgiveness and promises never to do that again one should be able to give the other benefit of the doubt and forgive them.
God is Omni Present therefore; he sees everything that human beings are doing. This means that all human beings are supposed to be careful in whatever they are doing because God is watching them. Human beings are usually lying and cheating to each other almost every day for example when a person oversleeps and gets late at work they always say that traffic was bad. There is also when students do not do their homework they always say that the dog ate their homework. People usually get away with lies but God is seeing all of this and is judging them.
“To be fully human is to be more than human” this phrase simply means that the person understands their religion and how it affects their daily lives, therefore; they learn not to make the same mistakes thus leaving the way the Lord wants them to live. This proves that they are able to know and believe in the existence of God and the problems of doing evil things. According to the philosophy of religion, it pays close attention to the life of the religion in full and not the religious beliefs. This will enable people to know religion in full including its advantages in the society. The people are also enabled to have freedom on whether they can either be believers of the religion or not.
The inclusion of human beings with the philosophy of religion questions will enable them to know their position about God on whether they are theism, which mainly means that God is the only creator that exists. There are those who believe that God is transcendent in that he does not interfere with the laws of the universe. There are people who are said to be the atheist meaning that they do not believe in the existence of God. The last positions that some people take is that God may or may not exist because it is not proven. Philosophy of religion simply tackles on the questions that most people would like to have answers for to practice their religion. Example of these questions does God truly exist? If He does exist, what is He truly like? Moreover, how does it affect the human race?
Many people over the years have asked this question and no one has come up with a conclusive answer, therefore, more people have continued to search for answers. Everyone has their own knowledge about the existence of God due to their backgrounds and other people's assumptions. People will therefore believe in Gods existence according to what they have heard and interpret Gods will in their own ways.
How does God look like?
There are different definitions of how people perceive God to be like such as the ontological way of arguments in which they believe that God is perfect. The teleological way of arguments, that believes that the existence of God is solely based on humanity. This means that without humankind then God will not exist. This shows that God needs humankind in order to survive meaning human beings are special. The cosmological way of arguing insinuates that God is and eternal creator. This means that without God then humankind will not exists. This shows that there are various arguments on how truly God is and how different people perceive God.
What is the implication for human beings?
According to different point of views of people, the main point that comes across is that God in the world created human beings for a purpose because they are valued and loved. This purpose means that human beings have a work or moral duty to ensure it is fulfilled. In fulfilling this purpose all human beings should follow the will of the lord and for those who do not follow this are said to be against God. People who do not have any belief will surely threaten the religious value because they have no faith in God or believe in Him or anything to do with creation.
This therefore, means that they believe that every person is their own creator because there is no higher power creator. The atheist mostly believes in these inclusive sentiments. This way of thinking makes the human life not important because it means that we were not created for a reason thus when humans live or die there will be no significance of their lives. The real sense with or without their religious beliefs the way people live their lives determines who they are a person.
Conclusion
The philosophy of religion provides answers about religion and makes it easier for people to know whether God exists in the world and if He is the creator of everything. The inclusion of philosophy of religion questions of whether god exists or not has determined the relationship of people and religion. When an individual finds their answers then they are able to know what they are meant to be doing on this world. The atheists are individuals who do not believe in God or any other power therefore, they have no idea of their purpose in the world. To be fully human is to be more than human this phrase shows that a person who knows their mission in the world will be able to do it without any obstacles. This is because they are able to believe in higher power, which is God.
