Entrepreneurial Mindset
Module 1
Today, being rather poorly equipped the strategists of many companies face wicked problems. Though, the complexity of a problem may be caused by its incorrect definition by the scholars. Wicked problems are usually the result of the market instability, pressure of the shareholders, changes in the consumer behavior, unfair labor conditions and many other issues. The existence of wicked problems may lead to confusion and fear about the future among stakeholder as well as lack of progress in various fields. The main difficulties of such problems is that they are constantly changing, thus, there may be no existing precedents for their solution.
Wicked problems have a social nature as they are caused by the actions of people. There are four types of wicked problems: deterministic, stochastic, uncertain and emergent systems. All these problems have different origin, but one thing is common. Nowadays we are living in a world where everything happens faster than ever, while many situations are beyond the control. Moreover, people cannot predict their future, thus, they cannot predict the problems that may occur.
While reading the article I was trying to apply the information to the real life. I understood that wicked problems exist in our everyday life, though we may not be closely connected with them. Nevertheless, now I know more information about wicked problems and believe that they are not as scary as they seemed to me earlier. They all are the causes of our society’s activity. They have different origin and this fact frightens the strategists the most, because they cannot predict where the problem occurs. At the same time, wicked problems are in the constant change so it is impossible to find on and the same solutions for them.
While bringing a lot of difficulties, wicked problems may become a trigger for a progress. Many current problems of our world lead to great innovations that could significantly improve the quality of our lives. In my opinion, the analysis of wicked problems could help in studying the entrepreneurship and marketing, because it provides people with the opportunity to think broader and understand that every problem could be solved if only you find a creative solution.
Module 2
Today the notion of entrepreneurship is becoming more and more popular not only in business circles. Whether you have a current business or are motivating prepared to dispatch your business, one of your most squeezing needs is the manner by which to create and fortify your entrepreneurial attitude. Yes, assembling a business requires genuine work and exertion, yet it is best finished with a state of mind that grasps the activity and danger included in turning into your own manager. You should be adaptable, yet decided, committed, yet alright with dissatisfaction, and a pioneer, yet a pessimist. This may seem like a driven errand, in the event that you don't as of now have these qualities. Be that as it may, you can utilize these seven propensities to develop the attitude of a fruitful business visionary with the goal that you're set up for achievement.
There is no one definition of an entrepreneur, though most of people could state that entrepreneur is someone who can start a business (Forbes.com, 2016). At the same time, entrepreneur is the person with innovative ideas, who are ready to implement them. All people are making decisions throughout their lives, most of which are very important. The difference is that some people are not afraid to change their life, to implement their ideas, while other people do not. This article is rather important to my professional development, because it shows that being entrepreneur means making the decisions that not only change but improve the world around and the life quality.
The purpose of the article is to show that everyone could become an entrepreneur just changes their mindset. It is possible to implement their innovations. Your little demonstration of business enterprise is showed as the decision you make to adjust your life; to experience the agony of disengaging yourself from what you typically do and endeavor another strategy; the torment of being strong despite difficulty; the gut insight of going out on a limb since you realize that you can't do "business as usual." Maybe it is the beginning of an organization; perhaps it is exhibiting another thought to your manager; possibly it is pursuing a degree; perhaps it is physically moving to another area the decisions are unending and we confront them for the duration of our lives.
