The world has a variety of geographical features located in different places and which not only act as attraction sites but end up defining the commodities that come from the place. Uniquely, every part of the world has striking geographical features, and this makes the whole world attractive. In addition to the features, the world has major cities that stand out from the rest of the towns, and which also end up dictating not only the economic activities but also the type of people in the area.
Additionally, Africa is a large continent that is rich in diversified cultures, geographical features, minerals, and worse of all it is associated with poverty. A majority of minerals being used in manufacturing industries across the world come from Africa, for instance, copper in Uganda and Congo, and gold in South Africa. The continent has some of the widely viewed wild animals such as lions, cheaters, and elephants. It has some of the longest rivers such as River Nile which serves more than three countries. Africa has major lakes both salty and fresh water lake and the largest lake in the world, Lake Victoria, and which extends to three countries, that is, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The continent is largely associated with leaders not leaving office despite their terms expiring and having a constitution (Cohen, 2014). Africa is also largely associated with poverty due to high levels of illiteracy and underdevelopment.
Further, London is a major city in the world today. The city is also the largest in the United Kingdom. In the modern day, London has become one of the most ethnically diverse towns in the world because it houses people from across the world. London has striking natural features such as Hyde Park which is commonly known as Diana Memorial Fountain where swimming and boating commonly take place in Serpentine Lake, and the Camley Street Natural Park (Brotton, 2013). In addition to the natural features, London is home to quality and outstanding physical creations such as architectures. The town and the United Kingdom at large are associated with quality items and commodities right from education to the way things are done. The country's items have the words ‘royal' in their titles majorly because of the King and Queen Government structure (Kraska, 2011). Thus, London is associated with refined items and commodities.
The Middle East is largely associated with religion and conflicts. The Middle East has popular countries such as Saudi Arabia and Israel and who have been crucial in the formation and development of religions in the world. To begin with, Middle East is home to Arabs and, arguably, the origin point of Islamic extremism which is responsible for Islamic associated terrorism affecting the world today. Islamic extremist groups such as Islamic State, Al-Queda among others have bases and roots in the Middle East. Additionally, the Middle East through Israel is believed to be the birthplace of Jesus Christ and hence Christianity. Cities such as Jerusalem (capital city of Israel) and Judea among others are well known to Christianity as they have a profound history of Christianity. Features such as Mount Sinai and River Jordan are also well known through Christianity and are associated with religion (Meusburger, Heffernan, & Wunder, 2011). On the other hand, Middle East is largely associated with conflicts because of frequent wars such as the war in Syria and the disagreement between Israeli and Palestine. Therefore, in addition to the Middle East having major geographical features, it is widely associated with religion and conflicts.
Populations around the world are associated with many things because of the cultures they observe and the things they do for a daily living. To begin with, populations are associated with politics because it happens all across the world. In every corner of the world, people engage in politics, and they even get into conflicts and disagreements as they search for power. Politics across the world is the source and determinant of the direction taken by countries in regards to the legislature (Kraska, 2011). The political class tends to influence the lives of the people by determining the allocation of resources and nature of life and, therefore, an important part of populations.
Additionally, populations across the globe are associated with agriculture. Different communities in the world practice farming for a living. The various communities in the world practice varying type of farming depending on the geographical nature of the place. While some communities practice farming through irrigation, others depend on natural rainfall. As a result, agriculture contributes to more than a third of the world's economy and is also the source of all the foods (Meusburger, Heffernan, & Wunder, 2011). Due to the high esteem is given to agriculture, pieces of land are a valuable asset and which in some of the community is passed on from generation to another as the inheritance.
In conclusion, the world is a beautiful place not only because of the spectacular natural things but also because of its people. The activities happening different parts of the world are almost similar but are only differentiated by the dynamics of each place. Therefore, despite coming from different areas, the world populations have many things in common.
