My life has been influenced by my experience and the happenings of my life over time. I come from a middle-class family, and I must admit that my parent’s hard work has made life a lot easier and enjoyable because I have never lacked anything in life. It has been a lot easier assimilating with my immediate society because of what I have and what I can offer the people I interact with on a daily basis. That is especially true considering that I look at life with a mind that acknowledges how having financial resources or lack of that determines how people make friends, interact with the general public and live their lives. It is amazing to think that I can get anything I want in life because money is not a problem; I can dress up in whatever label or cloth line I want because I can afford it. I have a great chance to become successful in future because of my interactions with my parents, family friends and members of my community.
My biography could have been a lot different from what it is if I were to live during the great depression. To begin with, food had become so scarce, and that only means that I could survive on one or two meals a day. Just like everyone else, I could have learned to live with the little resources that were available t the time. Perhaps my parents could have lost their jobs and that I could have been hired for substandard wages in a factory, cannery or even mines and farms. Living life at the time could mean literary surviving and moving from one place to another looking for a better livelihood. Dropping out of school was the norm for teenage boys and girls. I could be walking home from work in the evening, perhaps puffing a cigarette because it was the in- thing at the time.
