All for Love
No matter what century and place in the world we are living in, there will always exist some eternal topics that are close to each human being. One of such topics is definitely love. This feeling, indeed, is a very especial and meaningful word to every person. Thanks to its power, people are not just blind creatures in the kingdom of darkness who are looking for the light. Love is that magical feeling capable of healing any heart and directing all lost souls to the right life road, in spite of all the obstacles in front of them.
It is really difficult to evaluate the exceptional potency of love that can even bring gods to their knees. This inestimable diamond has thousands of reflections, each of which symbolizes a meaning of love destined separately to every human on the planet. Those in love do not notice any shortcomings of their beloved and could easily transform them into perfection.
This pure feeling, in fact, takes all the hardships and worries away, opening people’s souls for the miracle to come and change their life. Any loneliness, sadness and illness will be conquered by love and substituted by other more positive feelings such as happiness, joy, enjoyment and kindness.
Love, however, is able to change only those who are open for new experience and are ready to set off on some unknown but definitely unforgettable and so interesting life adventure. It has a key to those hearts and only searches for a perfect opportunity to open them. Do not miss a chance to wait for this memorable feeling that will make you look at the entire world without a mask and help to disclose your real face before the whole mankind.
Without love, people will just resemble blind moles living in the burrow that do not have any chances to see how beautiful and colorful the planet is as well as are unable to lighten up their dark and dull existence.
That’s why the first and foremost purpose of my anthology is to demonstrate every disappointed human being that an incredible power of love did not disappear anywhere and is just waiting to knock at all doors. If the person believes again in amazing kingdom of love, that priceless diamond will one day enhance their life as well as change all sorrowful and morose days into the most wonderful and perfect moments ever.
Each of selected works for my anthology book presents an interesting and unique story that will please and impress every not indifferent reader who is still waiting for their own fairy-tale.
The book contains two short stories, An Angel in Disguise by T. S. Arthur and The Stranger Who Changed My Life by Joni Rodgers, the poem, How Do I Love Thee? by Elizabeth Barrett Browning and the novel, Love, Rosie: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern.
All they are united by the everlasting theme of love and its important life for society as a whole and every individual in particular. Any readers who are looking for some interesting, touching and bittersweet love stories will surely be satisfied with this entertaining collection.
Though the theme of love may seem really simple at first sight, it has a lot of different forms. We may speak about love for your friends, family, relatives and most particularly to God.
People unfortunately used to love with their eyes. In most cases we judge any person according to their appearance or even social status, do not giving them a chance to show what is inside a cover. Each of the selected works is attempting to show that people are not always who they may seem at first.
One of the most important things in life is to try to know a person before criticize or blame anybody (Avery 102). Every personality, in fact, looks like a close fortress. You cannot find out what is hidden there and how beautiful or ugly it is inside, not even knocking at the door. The God gave every human being a chance to live and enjoy life to the fullest, so we should at least try to open our hearts to those who want to be among our friends.
There are moments in life when everybody can meet some kind of angel in disguise along the way. We should not pass by such people but show all our kindness, cordiality, sympathy and tenderness towards them and strive to bring some sunshine in their miserable existence. Love actually is not only about loving everything that is beautiful and perfect but about seeing ideality despite of all imperfections.
The mission of every human being is not only to enjoy their own life to the fullest but also to give a piece of happiness to those who can not achieve this purpose by their own. The one, who is ready to offer support and encouragement to strange people, will surely experience the most amazing feelings ever. Who knows what destiny is waiting for you in the future, so do not leave people in need or distress to the mercy of fate.
They could probably be your angels in disguise that are capable of making your own life happier and fill it with sense. Besides, they will pay you back by their pureness and frank love and will become “a honey to anybody’s soul” (Arthur 86).
The other love that is as necessary as that to your neighbors and those in need, is the love shared between friends. Friendship love knows that in any life situation there is always someone you can talk to and share all fears, problems as well as achievements and victories. No matter what foolish thing the person could make or what pretty mess one can get in, real friend will be there to give a helping hand and cheer up. A friend is that person, who though mocks at your failures and rush actions but will never dispraise you for it (Ahern 45).
Love, Rosie: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern certainly depicts such kind of love. Sometimes all everybody needs is a best friend who is ready to pick you up at any time of the day or night and suggest limitless support, stimulation as well as give a shoulder for comfort.
The friendship of Rosie and Alex proved that there indeed exist special bonds between real friends that are almost impossible to break apart. The moment you find such kind of faithful friend, will make you the happiest and the luckiest person on the earth. The happiness, in fact, is not about how much money one earns or how successful one is.
The thing is to find soul mates with whom you will be able to share the most precious moments of life. This person will always believe in you, encourage after each failure and will surely find a way to make you smile even through tears (Dobkin 71).
Finally, the biggest and most touching love ever is found between a husband and a wife. This beautiful feeling is difficult to describe or explain in simple words. The one that experiences it will never look at the world the same way they used to before. Love can completely change the person and incite to some hazardous actions for the sake of beloved one. In some cases, it can even rise to the spiritual level. Only that pure love that does not depend on the personal gain and expectation could be seen as the most moving one. If people learn to love not just in moments of joy and happiness, but stay loyal and infatuated in the moments of grief and sufferings, their love will last forever even after death (Barrett 92).
All selected works from our mini anthology book are not just separated literary works but important pieces of the complicated theme of love. They do not aim to instruct people or show how real love should look like. Love is really deceptive thing and is more worth if waited. Our book made an attempt to show how diverse love, in fact, may be and how it should be treated. Thus, do not jump to rush conclusions and make right decisions. One day love will silently knock at your heart, so be prepared not to mess everything up.
