Amazon mobile site version is very much similar to eBay site that I regularly visit using my laptop. First, the control panels of both sites have similar icons that allow the users to have access to various products provided by both. The most important of all is the account creation tab in both sites that allows consumers to sign up to the site and log in when necessary to explore the products available. Besides, they both have a help and contact tab that assists the consumers to ask for any assistance when necessary and communicate with the support when the need arises.
Furthermore, both Amazon Mobile and eBay sites’ versions have categorized their products and services they offer. It is a move to allow the consumers have an easy go when they are looking for them commodities. Also, this helps the two to economize space in their sites hence making it look decent. Moreover, both sites versions display their products and their prices for the consumers to have a quick glance at them. Also, it is an advertising strategy of persuading the consumers to buy the products.
On the other hand, the two site versions have a difference when it comes to the planning of the features of the control panel. The Amazon site arrangement of the control panel looks somehow disarranged when using a smartphone. There is an overlap of the items placed in the control panel making the site not to look appealing when using a smartphone (Amazon Mobile site, n.d). On the other hand, the eBay site version when using a laptop looks attractive due to its proper planning, unlike the mobile Amazon site. It makes the user feel comfortable and have the will to continue exploring the features available (eBay, n.d).
