Reaction Paper 3
1) I can consider our creativity, resourcefulness and unity as the major strengths of our group. We were able to come up with a successful result because each one of us participated and did our own part to complete the project.
2) I think that our group has to consider some areas of improvement which include strategy and taking of risks. There were some ideas that were raised while our group was brainstorming in order to complete the project. However, most of our members did not want to take the risk for fear that the end result of our project might fail.
3) In designing the vignettes, our group decided to use the process of delegating the work in smaller groups, wherein some of the members were assigned to provide the decorative artwork, while some of members were in charge with the graphic design, and the others were assigned to do the unique outline in the illustration. The process we chose turned out to be smooth sailing since our vignettes were done according to our desired goal.
4) The specific roles in the in the group included designing, projecting part, error calculating part and mesh transforming part. I preferred the designing part because it brings out my own creativity. It was a learning experience for future projects.
5) The experience I learned in this group project will be useful in the future when I will be assigned to work with team on an instructional 3D animation project. I was able to learn the interpretation of the captured gestures and how to control of the target 3D animation software (Condell & Moore 307). I also learned how to transfer a 3D facial model template that has an animation-controlled model by being able to calculate errors and minimize the errors in the project.
