Funding to Education
It is mine proposal that the five million dollars be allocated towards education pursuits. It is in line with the legal requirements that the entire figure be channelled to only one sector. In light of that technicality, I urge that the funds be allocated towards education funding of Brown County.
Ordinarily, it would be expected that I avail justifications that support my proposal. Indeed, it is my humble submission that the allocation would go towards the benefit of the entire populace within the County of Brown. For starters, the general standards of education are lagging and below normal standards as entertained by the national developments. It, therefore, places the quality of education services delivered within Brown County below the rest of the nation. A critical analysis of the reasons for this lag would conclude that the quality is much compromised by the resource deficits. The nature and quality of resources in the County are below average. In addition, the population in these schools exceed the normal levels. It is consequently essential that this City Committee undertake some reforms towards the improvement and organization of the education standards. In the long run, this move would impact on the society within Brown County and lead to the professional and social development of the local manpower.
It is essential at this juncture to point out a few of the benefits that would accrue under this proposal. It is noteworthy that the benefits assume a dual character. That is, the benefits fall in either the immediate results or long term results. Under the immediate results, we shall experience the easing of the burden and strain on the resources available within our schools. The funding of education activities will commute down to reduced stresses on the resource base. Problems of overpopulation should ease. In addition, the funds should be able to cater for the supply and maintenance of additional manpower and the retention of the current manpower within the teaching fraternity in the County. It is my postulation that this would make the overall delivery of education more fulfilling and qualitative. In other words, the immediacy of the proposal shall see the improvements of education standards.
In the long run, Brown County shall benefit in a number of ways. For starters, proper delivery of basic education services gives the citizenry a firm foundation within the education system. This would empower the citizenry who would consequently be able to pursue advanced education that would see the development of an informed and advanced technical personnel. The consequences would be seen in light of personnel contributions in their respective specializations. In addition, professionalism and other issues of qualitative standards of education would be achieved at higher rates and with better performance. Finally, the move would effectively avail to the education department the resource base that would provide efficiency and sufficiency to the workforce within the education department. This is essential for purposes of employee retention, employee motivation and the increased encouragement for learners to pursue teaching courses.
In appreciation of that submission, it my humble appeal that this community supports this proposal. The stakeholders ought to play their respective roles in the overall implementation of this proposal with the long and short term benefits attendant in view. In the overall. It should be appreciated that education is the originator of success in life.
