Elder abuse
Even if many people appreciate the important contributions made by the ageing population to the society, it is very unfortunate that others have resorted to denying the pleasure they deserve. Cases of the abuse of the elderly people have become a common problem in most of the societies today. While others are being sexually assaulted, others are harassed, intimidated and denied the necessary support they are supposed to get from the younger generation.
However, the worst of all is the rampant targeting of these people by the ill-in tensioned individuals using the modern technological trends to wreck havoc to them. Many youths being in an urgent need of free money, are engaging in cyber crime. They use the internet to send spasms to their targets with a hidden intension of conning them. This is a very regrettable conduct that should be fought at all costs. It is quite unethical to take advantage of the desperate situations of the old folk to snatch them the little wealth they own at this advanced stage.
I therefore strongly condemn the unwarranted conducts of were Tiffany Midgette, Stephanie Handy, Kimberly Midgette, Rannisha Fullmore, KeneetaWashington, Aisha Jones and Kinika Harvey for boldly taking the law into their hands and conning the innocent unsuspecting octogenarians and nonagenarians. In my opinion, this is a brutal inhumane conduct that should not be done to any person regardless of their age, race, and gender of culture.
In this regard, I would like to commend the police for carrying out a professional investigation, unveiling the truth and surrendering the merciless suspects to face the full force of the law. Actually, these people belong to the wrong side of the law and should be thrown into the jail to get the penalty they rightfully deserve. This will act as a lesson to others who are planning to commit the same offense.
