Elie Saab was born on July 4, 1964 in Beirut, and by six years, he knew accurately that he will be the tailor. In 1997 Elie Saab became the first foreigner to be awarded with a great honor and admitted to the Italian Camera Nazionale della Moda. The same year he introduced the first collection outside of native Lebanon. Since then his popularity only grew and Saab got the name of “legend of the world of haute couture”.
The real glory came to the Lebanese designer in 2002, after the Oscar award ceremony on which magnificent Halle Berry was in not less magnificent dress from Elie Saab. It is unconditionally recognized as the most effective dress of a ceremony and was showed on screens in total 331 second, while the favorite of the Hollywood celebrities Armani got only 130 seconds.Since then the couturier has no release from the eminent clients. He dresses famous actresses whom Saabcalls true women. Among his fans are Nicole Kidman, Mila Kunis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sara Jessica Parker, Sharon Stone and many others.
