Jay Patel’s ‘Emotions Unleashed’ Book Review
Emotions Unleashed is a book by Patel Jay. It contains a total of twenty-five poems describing the feeling when one falls in love. Patel also presents the internal girth obtained from self satisfaction. The poems take one from the love journey to the reality in infidelity and mistrust1. The author explains the exact meaning of death and life and how human beings relate to each other.
Reading the poems in this book, the author expresses his own feelings and emotions through use of words that can easily be understood by the reader. This is why he concentrated on the major issues directly impacting on people’s lives2. The main concern of the author was to understand the meaning of life and how people can be happier in life. Some of the harsh facts and situations he came across in his life regarding death and meaning of the hostile world must have inspired him to write these poems3.
The twenty-five poems contained in this book are presented by the author in such a way that they describe the main feeling felt by an individual after falling in love. This unexplainable feeling has very many impacts on one’s emotions and life in general. The internal girth realized from self satisfaction is also greatly analyzed in these poems by Patel.
From the book Emotions Unleashed, I have been convinced that most of the poets and writers do not strive for recognition or riches. On the contrary, such authors tend to be fueled by their character and the hope that their own words might be useful and change the way we see things, think and act4. The author has encouraged men to live happily, be good to each other, and always be human enough. This was the main message the writer wanted to pass to his readers. As well, a new style of poetry is noted in the twenty-five poems5.
Patel’s views and opinions about life and love strike me. This is because he presents the realities of life, love and mistrust in men. The poems explain the meaning of love and the mistrust that comes with it. The contents of book give the exact meaning of human life, death and how humans should relate with others. In conclusion, Jay Patel believes that life is all about being human to all human beings6. This is how we can all have prosperous life without injuring people’s feelings or doing them wrong. The author concludes that man in particular is expected to be good and help each other.
