The elements included in an enterprise telecommunications plan
In planning for a telecommunication enterprise, some elements that are common in any plan have to be considered. For an effective plan that is devoid of any errors and misgivings, whole round considerations of requirements and policies must be defined.
First element to be considered in the planning is the financial budget. The plan made must put into consideration how the available budget will be used and if the same is enough for objectives realization. A good plan is one that does not put constraints on the budget available. Physical electronic and other requirements must also be considered. The acquisition of these requirement and the modalities followed in the same are considered. Management practices of the same and implementation of the processes set in have to be defined. The most important element here is the management of these resources and process implementation.
Goals and objectives of the enterprise are other elements that should be included in the plan. Objectives serve as guidelines for the entire enterprise. Every task undertaken in the process is aimed at meeting the set objectives. Having a plan that is lacking in objectives and goals will lead to implementation of actors that might not serve the needs of the clients. Goals serve to define the short term aims based on tasks accomplishment.
Every plan has to define the processes through which all the resource has to go through in order to arrive at the set objectives. Processes define the step to step procedure to be followed. Considering that defining the process of each task to be done is improbable, plans need to give a general description of the general steps and activities coupled with timelines for the completion of the same.
