Many sports fans watch sports channels to be entertained by their favorite sports teams. When people are too busy to watch the game they have one website that they can rely on to give them the up to the minute scores and game details. “The website that sports enthusiasts rely on to give them all the informative details is the Entertainment Sports Programming Network” . The website name is also known as ESPN for short. Fans of all types of sports can log onto the site and find out everything they want to know about their favorite teams and competitions of game times. The website has many articles that display a theme of questionable information. The information that is detailed is formatted in a way that will want the reader to continue reading. The ESPN website is intriguing in the way the articles are laid out. It is information regarding the subjects that the headlines detail. It is a bundle of stories, news, and team assortment.
The headlines display a piece of what the reader is looking for. This is how the website keeps people coming back for more. The headings offer a small hint of what is to come if they keep reading. It captures the attention of the sports fans for further review of what the story has to offer. When the headline captures the attention of people who are surfing the site, it is intended to keep the on the site to continue learning the new information. Specific articles are displayed front and center on the main page. This is an eye catcher for anyone who connect to the site in hopes the captioning of detail will intrigue the minds of the reader.
The articles on the main page have bold titles and are often controversial for the wondering minds. In order to find out the answer to the title of the article people will need to continue reading. This is a curiosity builder and can be done to convince readers to not skip the page, but to read the details the author has written. In order to find out the end result, the audience will need to keep reading or wonder what the answer is to the headline they had read. The storylines seem to be captivating to attract onlookers and sports fan to surf the page for more knowledge of the sports players.
The stories that are written on the website have a sense of capturing the attention of those reading the words about the latest sports news. The way the stories are written have a sense of detail in the words and the main point of the article. As a person reads through these short articles they seem to captivate the reader into the story. When reading the words, I can relate to how the player is feeling as the discussion about his career unfolds. I can feel the emotion as the articles discuss the player’s injuries or their losing streak over the season. Emotion and compassion are key components that are embedded in the news articles. The more articles that were read, the more attached or connected that I felt towards the players who were involved in the discussion.
The ESPN website is having a layout of titles, and short descriptions. Many of these short headlines are worded in a way that will make readers want to click on the link. They do this to keep the people to continue spending time on the site and to learn more about the players who are on their favorite teams. As I was reviewing the abundance of headline articles, it was clear that the wording was displayed in a questionable layout. The layout would give just enough information to make me want to click on the article and find out what was going on further. Writers have a great way of pulling people into the entrainment of sports even if they are not fans of a certain sport. There were headlines regarding team players that I was not familiar with and would not have even given a second glance too. Instead, I read the articles for these players and was intrigued by the amount of information I had learned about them. This made me want to look for more articles based on the players or teams that I was reading about to get even more in-depth knowledge as to what they were all about.
The credibility of the sports characters is astonishingly displayed in the words written on the website. Even if an individual has no idea who that person is the story is written about; they will once they are finished reading. The website has its information platform in a layout that will captivate the audience. It is knowledgeable regarding the types of news that it has displayed. There is no need to search for scores, top news stories, or up to the minute team changes. As soon as I was on the site, it was displayed all right in front of me. I enjoyed the website due to the massive amount of articles and knowledge that I had picked up just by being on the main page. Not only did the site educate me about the news I normally would not have cared about but it had me looking for more knowledge about the articles I had read.
In the website stories and headlines, there was an assortment of different styles of writing, which all depended on the topic that was being discussed. “There were stories that portrayed ethos and persuaded me that the player was a credible person and a good athlete” . It had stories that displayed pathos, in which I felt the emotional approach the writer was trying to convince. There were even logos displayable stories that convinced me that a player had a good reason as to why he left a team. There are enough stories to convince non-sports fans to turn into sports fans without ever watching the sport. On the ESPN website, there is a whole community of information that is related to any type of sports across the globe. The authors who are in charge of the stories have a unique ability to capture the main idea of these stories and display them in a fashion that will intrigue all types of readers. Those readers won’t even need to have a background in sports to understand and feel connected to the stories.
