A Valuable Discipline
Having a life style with daily practice of yoga helps a person boost his spiritual, mental and physical health. Furthermore, a person who does yoga exercises regularly improves the flexibility of his body, adds potency and confidence to his personality and purifies the soul from intoxicants. Meditation has been an effective cure since centuries; in the same manner, yoga also helps you meditate and cure yourself from any aches and pain in the body. The breathing exercises relieve an uncorrupt mind from any foul thinking, clarify beliefs, and also develop a connection between the mind, body and soul. Not only does yoga facilitate a person in thinking positively, but also improves his relationship by connecting to the brain better and helping one become more thoughtful towards others.
Different people have different approaches for yoga, every time one does a particular exercise - encounters a unique feeling; hence it is not a mundane feeling like running and walking etc. People use it for different purposes. For instance, it ameliorates eating habits and reduces weight for one person; on the other hand, it increases the flexibility of the body for pregnant women and strengthens and relaxes their pelvic area. Furthermore, menstrual pains can also be cured through some poses of yoga. As has been noted, regular practice of these exercises would aid in making a perfect body structure, and provide relief from various physical hazards.
Yoga helps you be persistent towards doing any task, as well as makes you be focused on it. On the other hand it reduces stress and anxiety and at the same time enhances immunity in a person, hence providing a solution for health issues occurring due to these mental afflictions. To sum up, this discipline is not merely stretching of the body; rather it is a practice that develops a bond between the mind, body and soul.
