As all human beings as the same regardless of where they are born and raised, the process of thinking is same in all societies. However, depending on the culture where someone is raised and the influences that he or she has been subjected to, the thinking differs. The society that surrounds us and the stimulus that we have been subjected to influences the process of thinking.
Billy Wilder was one of the most creative screenwriters and directors in the era of Hollywood "Golden Age". As cited by Kovar, "Wilder loved to transport the viewer into the depravity of his own heart and did this by tricking the censors who sought to enforce the old Hollywood Production Code of Hollywood's "Golden Age" (Kovar). Due to his creativity, Wilder has become a synonym for breaking down barriers.
Dreaming is a form of thinking and regardless of the society, people dream. From time to time, I dream. Even though I do not dream so often, my dreams are usually dramatic and they reveal some unconscious and hidden desires that transfer to my dreams. Sometimes, in the morning, I have strong emotions about the dream and these emotions are so intense that it seems that the dreamt event really happened. One cannot dream at will, because it is a process of thinking that cannot be controlled.
I have never analyzed my process of thinking. The person I admire is my distant relative whom I see occasionally and who is working hard to fulfill his dream and that is to make enough material security so that he does need to work after he is forty. I think that he thinks about half an hour each day. On the other hand, I think about 10 minutes each day. My cousin spends more time thinking because he already has a plan. On the other hand, I am sill at school and my days are filled with many obligations, so I think about 10 minutes when I prepare to sleep.
I think rarely, because my days are busy. When looking back on it, I repeat the same actions every day, like a robot and every day is similar to the day before. To think creatively and to try and see some problem from a different age is something that I have not used to do so frequently. I used to fear from thinking too much because I would always see some negative downsides of the problem and that scared me. My esteemed mentor thinks more than me and it surprises me now.
I do not think that disposable diapers will make a big success because people are not so much used to dispose diapers down the toilet. The reason for this is because the parents change the diapers of their babies in a room that is not near toilet and other things such as handkerchiefs cannot be disposed down the toilet so it is easier to throw them all at once in a basket.
I am familiar with some of the names of car brands, whilst I have never heard about the others. After thinks about the car names, I notice that they have some terms that have the same impact in many cultures and that everyone can relate to. Their names are easy to remember and most of us have heard about these names in a different context, such as "Genesis" or "Thunder".
The story that is presented in the slide 11 and 12 made me laugh and think about the irony of life. The story has an interesting ending and not until the last sentence did I know what was going to be the end. These stories are written by writers and journalists. As writers and journalist are thinkers, that is, their job is to think and create interesting stories; they value the process of thinking and the creation of an original idea.
