Hunter Terre Haute Properties is a company which manages apartments and residential homes and rents them out to students (Hunter Terre Haute Properties 1).
The website has an asymmetrical balance. There is a great sense of organization which is good for the user. However, the design should use other balancing tactics in order to make a more appealing interface.
Grids
The website uses a third rule grid system. The website looks simple and everything is placed on a specific location. However, this makes it look dull; it does not depict the excellent apartment designs which the website talks of. The design should make the use of a better grid system
Spacing
The website is well spaced. There is clarity and order in the website. The website should uphold this characteristic since it is appealing to the users.
Color
Generally, the color of the website is dull; it does not give an indication of color in the company’s products (color is a necessity in apartments and housing). The design should improve on its color; it should use colors which connect with the company’s products.
Graphics
Looking at the website, it can be conclude that it has a high deficiency of graphics. The presentation is poor and the use of graphics would be a great addition to its look. Top on the priorities of the website designers would be to display the company’s products via use of appropriate graphics.
White space
White space makes a website readable and user friendly. The company’s website design has used white space well its layout. This gives the website a simplistic look which is comfortable to users.
Unity
When connection between the various elements in a website is achieved, unity is realized. The company’s website has unity. The items are placed well on the layout, hence leading to connectedness. This leads to consistency.
Consistency
The texts, pictures and links on the website are well placed on the website. This enables users to be able to navigate in the website more easily. It ensures that users are able to get what they want from it.
