Webster University
Webster University is an international university, which is located in St. Louis, Webster Groves. It is a non- profit making campus that offers different courses to students from all races. The university opened its first campus in Geneva in the year 1978 becoming one of the recognized higher learning institutions in the world. Currently, the college has student population of more than twenty one thousand students. Webster has also opened branches in Vienna, London, Netherlands, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Bangkok, Thailand and others. To expound its learning territories, Webster has collaborated with other universities from Japan, Slovakia, Hungary and Mexico.
The university is popular and diverse in the United Sates. It offers classes and clubs, which are unique and suitable for students from different cultural backgrounds. These clubs includes; African-American clubs, dancing such as salsa, gender based clubs and languages like Japanese, German and French. These clubs helps the students to embrace their diversity, learn different morals from different races therefore broadening their mind in al aspects of life. The college also offers both graduate and undergraduate programs and wide variety of discipline that suits each students dream in different campuses around the globe. It is a college that is committed to deliver high and quality education therefore transforming students to better excellent citizens who can be relied on in technological advancements.
The university focuses to expand in the Midwest and its regions. Focusing on students aged between 18 to 24 years, the college offers an opportunity to high school students, both junior and senior to study under one or two year program. Webster is a college that does not practice race discrimination. It is on a strategic plan to increase the ratio of students from different cultural backgrounds. This offers such students an opportunity to achieve higher education from a diverse university.
