Buddhism is an India original conviction that embraces a variety of customs, beliefs, and practices. All the Buddhism experiences, attributes, and practices are largely based on Siddhartha Gautama usually identified as the Buddha. Buddha implies and means the awakened one and lived and taught between 6th and 4th century and apart from being very popular in Asia, it has followers all over the world. This paper will be elucidating the duhkha, explain the concept of pratitya samutpada as well as elucidate on what is the second Noble Truth.
Duhkha also known as universal suffering is the first among the Four Noble Truths and is explained according to three different configurations or classifications. The First classification of duhkha is the outer physical anguish and pain for instance when one is ill. The second duhkha includes the inner nervousness and tension of trying to hold onto effects that are continuously altering while the third category refers to the un-sufficiency of life due to the changing nature of life. From Buddha, it can be seen that suffering is caused by the cravings, desires, and ignorance on the part of the human being. The power of these sources in causing suffering is termed as The Second Noble Truth.
The concept of pratitya samutpada in Buddhist is deduced as dependent origination or arising. This implies that in Buddhist, all things ascend in reliance upon various bases, sources, and conditions. Finally, the second Noble Truth in this religion is the cause of suffering as it has been indicated herein. It is through the understanding of the causes of suffering that makes the human beings free from them and hence, having a better life. For instance, once an individual has known that submitting assignment late leads to one getting a fail, the fail can be avoided thanks to the understanding of the cause. It is therefore pragmatic and sensible to be used and applied day in day out.
