Essay On Career Fair

The employers who I was really interested to talk to are The Cincinnati Insurance companies. They are a company that is a subsidiary of Cincinnati Financial Corporation. I had several goals while attending the career fair. One of the key goals was to conduct the company research. This could enable me to explore the numerous career opportunities that were on offer. Additionally, I had to find out what Cincinnati Insurance companies’ values its employees. While at the career fair, I also wanted to demonstrate that I had an ability to communicate effectively. In the process I was able to make some few solid connections. There were various things that I planned to take to the career fair. One of the chief things that I had planned to take was a copy of my resume. The resume looked professional. The second thing that I had prepared was a strong thirty second sales pitch. Personally what I think could make me feel most prepared in the manner that I would carry myself during the career fair. A smile, a positive attitude and a strong handshake is very vital. Additionally, a list of the employers who I would like to talk to, pen and paper for information collection, proper attire and the major talking points of employers.
The next time I attend a career fair, I will be sure to attend the career fair in time. I will not dress casually and go with a group of friends. In career fairs, one has to be prepared to take home some of the information from the employers and have a high self-confidence while interacting with the representatives of the employers. My experience was good, but I will have to improve my communication skills in future.
