- My Educational and Career Goals
Acquiring a position in a stable institution with growth opportunities has been of key significance as part of my career goal that I intend to exploit with my expertise. I aspire to gain as much knowledge as possible to satiate my thirst for knowledge and strategically move into a leadership position where I can lead a team and positively impact its growth. I am however, comfortable being a team member and can effectively coordinate with others to ensure the institution excels. My educational trajectory has been on a constant upscale that I delight in. I have had a long journey since I embarked on my previous educational experiences before starting my self-employed job in 1990 and am currently at school and will be graduating in May of 2014. If I were to attend a graduate school in psychology, and consequently graduate, I would like to work as a clinical psychologist or teach some psychology courses in different universities. At some point in my career, I would also like to be a counselor at a university or Jr. College. If not maybe consider being a counselor at a high school or work for the government in human resources or with Medicaid, anywhere that I may help and can make a difference. My ultimate goal is to work in an institution that is goal oriented and committed to changing the society. I aim to continually grow and develop in my area of specialty.
