Losing a loved one because of an addiction is a suffering. It is a suffering that haunts that person forever. This paper will discuss the dangers of addiction of alcohol. It will explain why the media and society can majority be a danger to this problem. Last, it will provide a way to help this problem.
This paper requires an open-minded please. This is going to bring one of the sensitive topics in the society. This briefly discussed so we can discuss the addiction of alcohol. This is the reason called judgment.
Every human makes mistakes. When we do, people are quick to blame. That judgment has led to countless people starting wars, deaths and other misfortune. It brings outs the worst misfortune by opening the Pandora box. Most Christians believe that God can only judge another person. Please listen to all the facts before judgment with this paper. As most Christians most believes, the only person perfect is God.
There are countless advertisements when turning on the television or going through Internet web sites about alcohol. The commercials are so appealing; it can make a person a feel that this would be the best night of their life. Some people if could be so appealing to end the sadness and problems they have.
Countless people drink and then get behind a steering wheel and starting driving. They think they are not that drunk. Some think they don’t have a problem.
The son was one of the most popular kids in high school for he was always helpful to everyone. Not to mention he was always one of the top football players. He was about to graduate and start college in a few months. That night all dreams crash. It tore the family, his school, and countless other people apart. He will never be forgotten.
Again, a person needs to get all the facts. This brings to the point of the television show called Intervention which was on for years. It was a show that brings a different light. A show that leaves a person feeling Bless for what they have regardless what religion or spiritual belief a person has.
It was a showed that showed that dangers of all addictions from drugs, booze, eating disorder, etc. It showed the addict at their current stage and how they were hurting their family and loves ones due to their addiction. It would have a family member explain how this addict became an addict. It will then have intervention with the family, addict and a therapist. It would then show the addicted going to rehab. It will tell the update status of the addict while in rehab and their time after rehab.
This brings to these rudimentary questions. We can try to predict the situation if something were to happen to us. Sadly, majority of the time that is not the case. If a parent has just lost their child and is now watching televisions commercial with the pleasure of alcohol; their pain cannot be now described; their thinking is gone for the pain is too hard, and the booze looks like to be a solution. That same situation can be applied in these cases. What happen when a person loses their sister or brother and that were they all they had? What happens when a person witness the person they love died?
It is not recommending that addiction is the way to go. Addiction can be so easy to go to when the pain is deep. In some cultures, people talking about their problems are considered bad. So that leaves people in pain with all this suffering burning inside.
There is therapy. Not everyone is going to choice at first. Sadly, this will always be a problem in our society. There are ways to help. To continue to have high schools have demonstrations on the effects of drink and drinking. One of the most powerful one is MADD.
As we know, MADD is mother against drunk driving. They are always looking for volunteers and donations. Helping MADD, who is one of the leading organizations for alcohol problems, is the best way a person can help.
Again, advertisements will continue to happen throughout time. People will make mistakes. Again, we must remember that as most religions believe, prayers are the supreme help. Again, helping MADD bring resolutions to this nightmare. Most of all, we can encourage our friends and loves do not follow in these steps. Every moment in life should be cherished; just asked the victims because of addiction of drinking.
