Eating chili peppers can be one of the most exciting activities. Chili peppers have several advantages as well as disadvantages. Many people take chili peppers because of their various uses and benefits. The article describes various reactions that people exhibit when taking chili peppers. The author compares biting a chili to aiming a flame- thrower at your lips. The chemicals contained in the chili peppers are responsible for the sensation felt by those who take it.
However, the body has a way of responding to the sensation produced by the chili peppers. The mouth is the first to detect and react to the sensation. The mind becomes involved by sending information to the sweat glands, the eyes, nose, stomach, heart and lungs. All these organs react to the sensation by behaving in a manner to defend the body against the spicy chili pepper.
Chili pepper is not addictive and it is essential to treating bodily defects. For a long time, people have used chili pepper to treat defects like sore throats, inflamed gums and relieve respiratory distresses. It is also used in treating aching muscles and tendons because it does not blister the skin. However, much as eating chili pepper may be useful and beneficial, it has disadvantages too. The main one being that it can cause stomach cancer when taken in vast quantities.
People have developed a habit of eating chili because of sensation and fire it gives off, rather than the side effects it causes. They take chili because of the thrilling and excitement it causes. For those who are used to eating chili pepper, their brains know how to behave and respond to the sensation. They tend to focus on the sensation rather than the effects caused. Generally, eating pepper can be both beneficial and disadvantageous.
