For one to be proven a professional, he/she must provide professional credentials which are important in any career that one prefers to pursue. These documents provide a formal prove of success and experience of a particular individual. These credentials, such as medical certificates, provide a comfort to the client proving that they are working with qualified professionals and show their interests in certain services and skills. Therefore, professional credentials are essential in sense that they show one’s skills, responsibility and liability.
Licensure is an official recognition that a person has required skills, knowledge and ability to provide professional services with regard to safety, health and the public welfare. I think that the licensure is more common in states that there are cases of difficulty of fraudulent practitioners. This is why some States requires this complex licensing practice while others don’t. it is important to acquire licensure on time because it proves that an individual has experience that cannot cause threat to safety, health and welfare of the public.
Various social media provides a platform to maintain a professional presence in different ways. They show the experience of a professional through complete and compelling profile. They portray one’s skills, recommendation which provides credibility with other people. Furthermore, one has join groups that are relevant to their field of interest and engage in discussions.
LinkedIn is a network that provides a way to assist a person who wants to meet and interact with new people and enhance a professional network. The internet also expertise, demonstrate and provide all relevant and significant social media aspects for all professionals. This can be enhances through group participation, being recommended and updating one’s profile as regularly as possible.
