RE: Letter of Introduction
It is my goal to become a respected Military Intelligence Officer whose work always meets quality standards along with an unquestionable sense of integrity. My short-term goals are to gain the knowledge, a challenging career, as well as accomplishing daily goals that support the military’s mission and core values. In addition, I wish to increase my proficiency at handling Operations orders in an effort to streamline daily office procedures.
My expectations for my time at MIBOLC is to receive the training necessary to increase my knowledge and required skill set. My education included completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati in 2008 with my degree in Exercise Science prior to spending eight years working in retail. While studying for my master’s, in Criminal Justice. my interest in a career in the militarily peaked when I joined the ROTC department.
My long term goals are to work as a DOD civilian for South COM. My military career began when I enrolled in the Army in late 2012 as an 88M. After completing my Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill Oklahoma, 434 Field Artillery Brigade, I graduated within the top ten percent of my class. Shortly thereafter, I completed my Ait for the Motor Transport Operator Course at Fort Lenordwood. Once finishing this training, I drilled with Co E 237 BSB prior to transferring to another unit soon thereafter.
Aside from the occasional bout of tendonitis in both knees, there are no other physical limitations that would hinder my training at MIBOLC. My physical shape is healthy and deemed in good medical condition.
