People have many religions. One of them is Hinduism. It is the Indian religion with many traditions and philosophical schools. This religion is described as the eternal way and is one of the most popular and the oldest religions in the world. It spreads the notions of samsara, karma, vegetarianism and yoga (Embree 50). The biggest minuses of the religion are burning of the widows and cast system.
When one white light is split by a prism, it transforms into a rainbow of colors. This statement can be used for the Hinduism religion. The main god Brahman is the prism and the other deities symbolize the rainbow of colors (Hopkins 119). Every person can find the God which he would like and worship. Hinduism teaches that everything has the soul and the Deities are in everything. From the other side, the statement of prism and colours can be used to show that Hinduism is the religion without one structure. It is so ancient that has many branches and beliefs found within it.
Hinduism is the complex of religions. It includes many religions, so there are many deities. Its main purpose is to give the people the feeling of absolute freedom. Hinduism doesn’t deny any other religion and pays respect to them.
So, all these statements help to understand the notion of Hinduism and the source of multiplicity of deities. Hinduism helps to burn the light into human souls and to establish there the rainbow of beautiful colors.
