The business environment comprises a wide range of activities, enterprises and institutions geared towards profit making through provision of vital and necessary services and products within a society. The government is the legal authority that makes policies and rules governing practices and behavior within a society and largely the business environment (Mahon & McGowan, 1996). The government regulates the business environment through price regulations in the market and specific legislation by which all organizations are expected to comply. The society comprises of human being relations and facilitates exchange of influential ideas, values, and ideologies.
Influential ideas are often solutions to existing problems in the society and, therefore, are tools for that facilitate development. These ideas also improve on the existing developments in the society and business fostering a more efficient and fair system. In the business environment, these ideas are advantageous in that they mainly foster harmony between the business, government and society (Lussier, 2014). For instance, a business idea that is aligned to the set laws and regulations and is considerate of the welfare of the surrounding society fosters good relations between the three diverse fields. Influential business ideas further prevent and eradicate emergence of conspiracies within the society and dominance of monopolies that are more likely to create disharmony within the society.
Overall, influential ideas are beneficial in ensuring equal distribution of wealth and income in a society and especially amongst majority and minority groups. It further provides for equal development chances to all members of the society (Carrol & Buchholtz, 2014). Exploitation of workers, environmental pollution and misuse of natural resources happen to be some of the difficulties that are easily prevented and controlled through influential ideas.
