Baptism of Jesus Christ
The passage is about the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. Notably, John the Baptist hesitated, informing Jesus that actually he, Jesus, should be the one to baptize John the Baptist. Jesus, however informs John , that he should do the will of God, so Jesus gets baptized by John the Baptist, and a voice from heaven is heard proclaiming, This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him.”
Matthew 28:16-20
Jesus Talks to His Followers
This is the story of Jesus and his followers. Jesus’ followers went to the mountain where Jesus had sent them. Then Jesus came over to them, when they saw him, they worshiped him. Of course some of the followers did not believe him.Then Jesus gave them the Great commission,’Go and make followers of all people in the world, the baptize them in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy spirit.Jesus also promised to be together with the followers in their great duty,till the end of the time.
I Corinthians 12:3-6
This passage is about the supremacy of the holy spirit and the oneness of the holy Trinity. It asserts the power of God, who works in different ways in our lives and who enables us to do all things.

Christ Comes to the World
The passage likens Jesus to the Word, and explains that the word was there in the beginning, was with God, and was God. This, essentially stresses the fact that Jesus is God, and is the light that shines in the world and has been, since the beginning of time.
John 17:20-26
This is the Prayer of Jesus Christ, as he prays to God for those people who he believe in Him and those who will believe, on hearing the Word. He prays that the World believes in Him, as he has been Sent by God, and the people should believe in Him, as they believe in God, since he, Jesus, is lord. He also pleads with God, to allow the followers to be with Him, all his time on earth, so that this can portray the Glory of God.
How these may shape the worldwide
The above passages explain Jesus coming to the World, baptism as well as his activities on the earth. He gave his authority to his disciples and commissioned them to go preach the word to the whole world, and even prays that his followers are with him all the time. The knowledge that its Jesus command that his believers should go preach the Word, gives a whole new perspective of the notion about the role of the ministers of the word of God in the world, that they are actually carrying out the great commission.
Genesis 1 and 2
Chapter one outlines the order of creation of the world. It explains how God utilized six days, resting on the seventh day, in the creation of the world. On the first day, God created the earth , and then ensured that there was light, the second day he created the sky. On the third, fourth, fifth and sixth days, God created, Dry Land and Plants, Sun, Moon, and Stars, Fish and Birds, Land Animals and People in that order. Then God looked at the work he had done, and was pleased.
Chapter 2
The core of the second chapter is about the creation and the life of the first man, Adam in the garden of Eden, and also the creation of a companion from Adams ribs. It also talks extensively about the garden of Eden, the plants that grew there, as well as the general landscape of the garden, which was the home of the first man.

The chapter explains the suffering for Christians, but asserts that such suffering cannot be compared with the glory that awaits the Christians. It explains that everyone who trusts in God awaits the time when his lord will reveal who his true children are.It likens such anxiety with the pain of a woman about to give birth. The passage also asserts the hope that Christians have about the promises that the Lord has made. So strong is this hope that Christians already believe that they have all the promises made.
Colossians 1:15-20
The Son of God Is the Same as God.
This passage exalts Jesus, the son of God, as the most important person in the whole world, who should be worshipped by all. Whom, through is power, all things were made, for him. Who was therefore before anything else, and also with whom the Lord is pleased. And through him, God made peace using his blood sacrifice on the cross.
Shaping world view
There is the believe that there is nothing like creation, especially for mankind. The commonly held believe is the scientific theory that explains that human beings evolved from simpler creatures. The above passages outline the creation process, detailing Gods power in the whole process. Such, is important in molding people's world view, especially with regard to creation.
Isaiah 9:1-7
New Day Is Coming
This is a prophesy about the birth of Jesus Christ, who would be born in Nazareth and is believed to be the light of his people, who will save them from their problems. It's therefore likened to be a day of great happiness, when the people's burdens will be offloaded. This is the birth of Jesus Christ the son of God. Jesus is prophesied to the the expected King of all Kings and the messiah and savior of the people of Israel.
The Lord’s Special Servant
This passage outlines the prophesy about who Jesus Crist shall be. It explains that Jesus Christ will bring justice to all nations,he will teach the word of God and will be an agreement with the people as well as being the light of the world. Through him, the blind will see, captives will be free and all people will receive the light.
Isaiah 53
This is also a prophesy of Jesus suffering in the world. According to the prophecy of ISAIAH, Jesus would be treated badly, he will be stoned, scoffed, and abused, but he will bear all these so that the people’s sins can be taken away. He will suffer because of the will of god to wash our sins, and not because he is being punished.
Matthew Chapter 5-7
Chapter five opens with what is commonly known as the beatitudes of Jesus Christ. These are promises for those who do the will of God, and the rewards that they shall receive. Jesus also teaches his disciples on various issues touching on their behavior and conduct in the world. He teaches them that they should be lighter, and the salt of the world, that's all what they do should reflect the teachings of the Lord, and they should be examples to be emulated.
In these three chapters, Jesus teaches them a very important rule, which is to love others and to do unto them what you would want them to do to you. He also taught on how to love their enemies.
Joy in Heaven
In this passage, Jesus teaches about the importance of preaching the word to those who are lost. He uses parables to explain the the importance of bringing people to the lords fold, explaining that everyone is important in the eyes of the lord, the bible also teaches about the prodigal son, as a way of explaining that those who have sinned are also important to the lord, just as the clean ones
Mark 5
The chapter is about Jesus miracles when he was in this world. It specifically touches on the Miracle of freeing a man from evil spirits as well as ting the resurrecting the dead girl and heals a sick woman.
John11
Is the story of a man called Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead. This man had dead and buried for four days but Jesus been raising him from the dead, to the dismay of many who had come to witness the incident.
Luke 22-24
These two chapters explain the issues that surrounded the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They explain the activities that culminated in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as well as the the position of the disciples in the whole process. The role of Pilate and the Jewish authorities is also captured. Finally Jesus is crucified, dies and appears to two of his disciples on their way to Emmaus, and they do not recognize him, until he proves to them through nail marks on his hands and feet.
Matthew 24
In this chapter, Jesus speaks of the end time prophecies. He tells his disciples the things that will be there in the end times,. The tribulations of the people, as well as the signs that will show that the end is near. He however, concludes by telling them no one, not even himself, knows the end of the time.
