Our parish priest is a known and respective leader figure in our community. He is highly regarded as a very helpful person and a great leader to among the pastoral council. He also founded a small group, which helps in providing food and shelter to homeless people, apart from the council that he leads. Our parish priest was able to lead the council as well as the civic group in a way that he motivates and teach his followers more ways to help the poorest of the poor as well as the sick people in our community. As a leader, he headed more than seventy five volunteers whom he influenced more in helping homeless and hungry people in our society. He did not use any special leadership technique nor do strategies to have his people believe on his advocacy, but rater he used a charismatic way of leading his people.
Through his charisma, he was able to motivate people to help others regardless of their races or social status. Additionally, he is confident and highly esteemed, a leader by example along with his strong wisdom of purpose, and articulated the ideas and goals that his people are psychologically prepared. He was also able to gain his supporters’ unquestioning emotional and cognitive commitment in addition to his extraordinary moral attraction, influence, and inspiration within the organization.
Our parish priest possesses a behavior that is known by many of his supporters in our community as he personally lends his hands to help and lead. Additionally, he talks to his people personally to give further advice as to how his followers can help unfortunate members of our society. He can also influence his followers’ personal interest to transcend for the sake of many.
