Popular culture is a collection of perspective of thought, mental attitude and idea generation in the population within a certain period of time. Factors that affect popular culture are education, mass media, genetics, fashion and religion. Male types can be grouped according to sexual orientation.
Heterosexual
These are the men who are attracted to women and hence they can end up building a family with the woman and having children with her. This male type has been in existence over a long period of time and this behavior is also documented in religious books such as the Bible and the Quran whereby one man can get married to one or more women that is monogamous or polygamous respectively.
Homosexual
This is a man who is attracted to other men. This trait has been kept clandestine over a long period of time, and it is only recently that these men have gathered the courage to get out and to inform the public of their existence and their desire to be accepted as they are. Research shows that some men are homosexuals by choice, otherwise most of them are homosexuals naturally they don’t choose, it is genetic.
In some states two men are allowed to marry. If these men desire to raise children in future, they will have to adopt from children’s homes or to look for a Surrogate who can carry their baby for 9 months on their behalf at a fee.
Celibate
These are men who may have Heterosexual or Homosexual orientation but they cannot be involved in a relationship nor marry since they have taken an oath of celibacy with their religious denominations examples of such men are priests and monks. It has also been observed that some men do take the oath of celibacy voluntarily.
