The objective of the first primary meeting was to introduce products of the Gowifi team to the customer-1st Terre Haute bank. Further we hoped to create a rapport with the customer with the hope of securing the target as a potential client.
The need to know information in this first meeting is the perception that customers have of our company and access how well our products could meet the customers’ needs. The elements of ADAPT-SELL could be used to ensure that the product being released to the market has the ability to meet the specific demands of that new market.

We obtained our objectives. We were warmly received by the customer at their premises and allowed to speak to the branch manager. Since the 1st Terre Haute Bank had invited us, we got to hear of their concerns which included poor internet services at other locations. We agreed that we as the setting up of the new branch was going on, we would assess the internet need of the company and advice them accordingly on the suitable package to that they can select from our company.
The needs of the customer were uncovered because we realized the shortcomings of the previous internet service provider to the bank. We explained the suitability of each of our products and left the potential client adequately informed of our products. The presentation focussed on the buyer’s needs because we first gave the buyer an opportunity to express their needs after which we responded by specifically presenting our internet packages that are suitable for upcoming establishments in order to enhance their start-up process. Though the seller never closed the sale, we left satisfied that we had managed to acquire one potential client. In spite of such a good show we need to work on some non-verbals such as maintaining good eye-contact with the client in order to gain their utmost trust and create a rapport that eventually yields a sale.
