Essay On Marriage Contract

You are the person I want to spend my life with. After I met you, I fell head over heels for you. I hope our love will keep us together forever. I wrote this contract to show you my image of our life. However, I understand that yours might be different, and I agree to negotiate both of them and create the last version together.
Here is my attitude to the married life. As you know, I am a divorced man, and I have some experience in marriage.
Economic: I would appreciate if you move into my apartment, we will keep our income together and you are welcome to take money for your expenses, I will do this as well. I would like to put aside 10% of our income and embrace the practice of tithing. We can choose one day in the month on which we will pay the bills together.
Children: I want to have 2 children, preferably a boy and a girl, also I want to be present at the birth of them. After pregnancy, it would be great if you breastfeed our babies and in this case, you will stay at home for at least a year and I will take the financial responsibility for our family. I will do my best to provide you and the children with profit, so not to be in need of anything. In the event we are not able to have children, I agree to adopt one. In the future, let them visit public school and some classes, for example swimming. I would like to bathe them with you in the evening, after work.
Relationships with others: I know all your friends and you know mine. You like to go to the theatre with your friends, but I like fishing, so we can have time devoted to individual interests. I am not opposite your male friends, however, I know you do not like me spending time with female friends. We both like girls and guys nights out, but when we have children, we will not make them.
Career and domicile: If you intend to maintain your career after marriage, I will support your decision and we will move up the career ladder. But I would like you to care for our children until they go to the nursery school, because I do not trust babysitters.
Couple time: I love making pleasant surprises for you, and I will make them in future. We usually go on dates every Saturday, I would be glad to continue having date nights. You know that I adore travelling, so I would like to have some savings for travelling.
Division of household responsibilities: Household chores are the most boring in married life. However, we should do them. I would appreciate if you do the dusting and polishing, wash the dishes, do the laundry, prepare the meals, do the vacuuming, feed the pets and clean the bathrooms. Then I will mop the floors, water the plants, mow the lawn, weed the garden, take out the trash, wash the car. And let us wash the windows, bathe the pets, shampoo the carpets, clean the garage and clean the refrigerator together.
Relations with in-laws or families from previous relationships: I do not have children with the previous wife and I do not keep in contact with her. I have several friends from my previous relationships and you know them well.
Other: We are both Christians, we believe in God and we visit churches. I hope our children will be christened. In case we have a conflict, let us be patient with each other and resolve the issue together and reach a compromise.
After writing this contract, I noticed some changes in my attitude towards the routine life. We never think of them while dating. However, now I realize that it is important to open up with each other and be sincere. I expect to have a wonderful life together, full of emotions and passion that is based or the faith and trust.
