The result of the personality test that was taken showed that I am an INTJ, which stands for Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. INTJs have been described in the personality test results as someone who is more laid back, definite, and self-confident . This is their key strengths. Their key weaknesses, on the other hand, include their inability to appreciate the value of certain communication processes, which as a result, limits their ability to engage in deeper and more meaningful relationships. For the most part, I agree with what the website said about INTJs. Most of it was true and I was able to make sense of my own behaviors, attitudes, and reactions towards events, people, among other things. As far as career implications are concerned, INTJs usually excel in industries where a high level of analysis and predictability is involved. INTJs are critically known for their ability to self-develop knowledge and specialties in certain areas. They are not jack of all trades. They know what they know; as a counterbalance, they also know what they do not know. This is essential for careers in the science and engineering industries, among others. A lot of INTJs also excel in medicine, and in some less usual cases, law, as these two career trajectories tend to depend on a high level of predictability and definiteness, especially medicine. To summarize, I think being an INTJ can be likened to being a realist as opposed to being an idealist. Between the two, I see myself leaning towards the side of being a realist because that is just the way how I perceive things. I tend to find the perfect balance between optimism and pessimism most of the time and I think that is one key factor that makes me an INTJ, which I also think should be meaningful for the career paths that were just mentioned.
