My friend Ali is the friendliest person I have ever met in my life. Without exaggeration, I can say that we are not just the best friends, but we feel so close like genuine brothers. We met in the last years of the high school, both of us transferred to a new school and plunged into a new environment. Ali and I have stayed friends ever since, and our ongoing friendship is lasting almost for ten years now. The best way to describe Ali is to imagine a mane of black, thick hair, and a long and cute beard. As a fact, he always wears a beautiful smile. You cannot mistake him for somebody else, as soon as you see his white strong teeth shining bright from a distance. It will be the first thing you notice when he is smiling.
Ali naturally tells the best jokes that always make the others around him laugh, too. Whenever I see him laughing, I join in even if the joke is on me. His amazing laugh is infectious, and no one can resist it, including myself. You will not be able to see his brown eyes most of the time, while he is loudly laughing and throwing his head back. When he does laugh his beautiful and wise eyes become two small dots in his face.
Besides, Ali is the most active person I have ever known. He cannot stop to rush around and always tries to get the last update news from everybody. Moreover, he has a lot of friends, and every day he makes new ones. Everyone around my age or younger knows Ali in the gym, in the school, and on the street. It is habitual that people always look for him and feel happy to hang out with him.
We play soccer every day after school, which is part of our agreement. Since he is an outgoing person, Ali supports me in everything, in my life. I vividly remember his moral support when I told him that I was planning to study abroad. He supported me and gave me a good search about the U.S.A and the school here. Later on, Ali called some of his friends to contact me and to give me more details about the U.S.A.
I always go to him when I have a problem, whether a small or a serious one. He is a good listener, and I can be sure to rely on him as on nobody else. He has a habit to look directly in my eyes. I feel that he is inside my brain to figure me out. Our brotherly support and understanding are the two things that I miss about him too much. Ali is my treasure, and I will always cherish our true and committed friendship.
