As a result, an international manager’s negotiation proficiency will progress as they advance into a different business environment. Conveying the correct message with the different gestures, facial expressions, and body parts is as significant as the words an international manager may select in a communication (Burgoon, Guerrero & Floyd, 2011). Nonverbal communication may help the manager communicate with stakeholders through facial expressions and body language.

Listeners such as business partners or clients look for evidence of confidence in managers to show how resiliently they believe in what they do or are conveying. An international manager who exhibits a pleasant expression and maintains a straight posture may effortlessly convey confidence to clients or business partners. Nonverbal communication may play a significant part in international businesses, where even with the assistance of translators there may be a usual caution about the correctness details, offers, or intentions disclosed (Luthans & Doh, 2012).
