There exist differences between both medium even though they appear to disseminate similar messages. This paper aims at comparing and contrasting the differences and similarities of three newspaper articles in their print and web versions.

There is a difference in the font size and style of the wordings in print and web versions of the article. The font size and size of the print version is constant while that of the web version gets varied dependent on the viewer’s browser settings. Some words in the web version such as ‘al-shaabaab’ and ‘Somalia’ get highlighted, and underlined allowing the viewer to access more information on the subject.

The print version of this article is slightly different to the web version. The print version has smaller snapshots of different TV programs that use violence as a theme next to the main snapshot of the ‘walking dead’. All the information in the print version gets presented on a single interface while the web version provides information on two pages. The pictures in the print version appear in black and white while that of the web version appear in multiple colors that are more graphic.

Both print and web versions of this article pass across replicate information. There is a slight difference in the main heading of the article in both versions. The heading in the print version is bolder compared to the web version. The web version also has words that get underlined and highlighted and provide further information on the subject if clicked on. The print version uses uniform font and style without alterations.
Conclusion
Both print and web versions of the articles contain similar messages presented in a manner curtailed to meet the demands of different end users. This creates slight differences in the articles.
