Tools and techniques used for project management processes
There are tools and techniques that every business opportunity and management enterprise should consider. In project management, ideas are converted into planned resources and funded projects. It is used in fault detection as well as planning, gathering an organizing of informational factors. Fishbone diagram has a central spine upon which the causes and problems are defined in it. It is considered useful especially in mapping an entire operation.
Critical path analysis is used in the determination of the shortest path through which a project can be completed. It is useful especially in a situation in which many components are interconnected. It uses program evaluation and review technique in determination of the path. This technique is important in showing tasks in the project whose timings coincide. It also provides an efficient time planning in order to obtain an efficient timescale.
Gantt charts provide another tool that provides excellent and desirable models for budgeting in any project. It also gives a clear and easy presentation of reporting activities as well as communication of project plans easily. All managers should be well aware of these techniques as they are essential in the management of the project. The techniques provide easy monitoring and tracking of the project. All the actors implemented in the project can be easily managed and tracked.
