I believe that the question of who is to blame in the rape will always be contradictory, as such cases are diverse, each of them having different circumstances and reasons. Statistics presented in this relation support my view, as followers of any of the possible position can find arguments in defense of their points of view. Thus, I think that it is not right to generalize in this case, although it is possible to make certain division between the possible cases.
First, I think that when a person really behaved wisely and did everything that is considered necessary not to become a victim of rape, then of course, he/she cannot be the one to blame. I think that everyone will agree that it is true. Another situation is when one thinks that going only through save streets is not necessary, and becomes a victim of rape. In this case, I think that there is a certain amount of guilt on the person, or even on the environment for not explaining to the person why walking along this street can be dangerous.
When a person knows that he/she can become such a victim, I think that their amount of guilt is greater, than in the latter case, but it cannot be called complete. Thus, I believe that the guilt and its distribution can be different according to the situation, but of course, it is necessary to take decisive measures to prevent the rapes, although in the nearest future it cannot be done completely. These measures should be directed at both the potential victims and the criminals, as only in this case there can be positive results.
